About Course
The Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology program trains students to assist surgeons and nurses during operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sterilization, surgical equipment setup, and patient care before, during, and after surgery.
1st Year: Theoretical Studies
Studied subjects including
1. Anatomy & Physiology,
2. Surgical Procedures,
3. Medical Terminology,
4. Anaesthesia Basics,
5. Sterilization Techniques,
6. Infection Control,
7. Patient Safety, and OT Equipment Management.
2nd year: Practical Training & Clinical Experience
1. Completed hands-on training in operation theatre settings,
2. Assisting surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures,
3. Preparing OT instruments, maintaining sterile environment,
4. Positioning patients,
5. Managing surgical equipment, and ensuring post-operative care coordination.
